What a treat! I had the pleasure of dining at Chef Scott Crawford's Croatian restaurant, Brodeto, for the first time, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I had high hopes going in, and somehow, my expectations were not just met—they were exceeded. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely fantastic. She offered thoughtful recommendations, provided impeccable service, and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. Every dish we tried was a delight, but the tuna crudo and olive oil cake were stunningly flavorful and beautifully presented. A special thank you to Beverage Director Jordon Joseph for enhancing our evening. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. Bravo to the Crawford Hospitality team!

Our 3rd visit to Brodeto, and our 3rd time we were impressed! Our party of 5 ordered lots of different dishes and we loved them all. So fresh, inventive and delicious! The scallops were probably the best I've had - so flavorful & delectable! The Little Gem Hearts salad is our favorite salad anywhere. The Linguine al Nero was incredible! We also got (but not pictured) the polenta, gnocchi and Croatian Pogaca bread and all three were delicious. Everything was. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary with our family and we are all looking forward to going again! Niko (Nikko, Nico?), our server, was so fantastic. Super friendly and nice! So go to this restaurant and order anything - it is ALL great! #eatlocal (Pictured: Sardine toast, salad, focaccia, scallops, potatoes, Brodeto, shrimp, pastas, carrots, pork chop, olive oil cake, chocolate cake, and gelato)

A beautiful space that serves creative but down to earth food! We were very happy with everything we ordered, especially the whipped ricotta and the olive oil cake. Our server Josh was great, and the whole team very efficient. Making a reservation is a good idea, it gets pretty busy in there even on a weekday!

The food was great! Our server, I think her name was Jordan, was awesome. She made great recommendations. The drinks were great and there was a great wine selection. The mushrooms were my favorite. Never had them cooked that way. The pork chop and the lamb chops were cooked to a perfect perfection. So much flavor. The sauces were so good. The octopus salad we very good. Never had it prepared that way. Best olive oil cake that I have ever had. Will definitly be back!

Delicious! We’ve been wanting to try Brodeto for a while but live in Charlotte. Finally got to try all the beautiful dishes I’ve been stalking on their Instagram. We order a little too much but everything was wonderful. We started with Croatian bread, the tuna crudo (omg get this) and the potato octopus salad (the portion was HUGE). For our main dishes we order the octopus with lentils and a pasta dish. All wonderful. We somehow managed dessert - vanilla gelato and the panna cotta w rhubarb granita. The service was solid and the atmosphere was light and simple and shockingly it wasn’t too loud (like most restaurants are these days) even though it was a full house. We will definitely be back!

Excellent and romantic date night restaurant. If you are a seafood, especially crustacean lover, you'll be very impressed. Has a strong European and Italian flare, but very unique. They do not cut corners on anything, (even their water was exquisite). Recommend the Brodeto (a.k.a. Cioppino, Fisherman's Stew) especially if you are a fan of Fruta Di Mare, the Focaccia (Best we have ever had), and the Coal Roasted Oysters w/ Calabrian Chili Pangrattato

We were thoroughly impressed with everything at Brodeto. It’s one of the few restaurants we feel actually lived up to the hype. We sat at the bar and both Kat and Taran helped us throughout the evening. They were both delightful, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Every dish was perfectly executed. The cocktails and the wine were fantastic. A very unique wine list for Raleigh, we really appreciated it. The amberjack crudo was spectacular. The sardine toast was a perfect balance of flavor and texture- and the olive oil cake was so delicious that I actually ordered one to bring home too! The pasta and mains were also wonderful. We will absolutely be back. We moved to Raleigh three years ago from Ireland and have been looking for a really great restaurant and are so happy to have found Brodeto. 10/10

A lively well-decorated fine dining place. The food was excellent, service was quick and servers were responsive. We started off with the amberjack crudo. It tasted very fresh with nice citrus and aromatic notes. Then we had Linguine El Nero and Wood Roasted Pork Chop. The linguine was just out of the world. The uni cream added an extra umami to the luscious squid ink pasta. Would highly recommend this dish. The pork chop was well cooked and tasty. For dessert we had the Italian Chocolate cake. It was okay but not as great as the other dishes. Overall worth the money and great for date nights!
